About ResLife

The Residential Life Team (ResLife) is made up of postgraduate students and staff that provide support and guidance to help you make the most of your time living in halls.

What does ResLife do?

Moving somewhere new and starting university can be a daunting experience for many, but ResLife are here to make the transition as smooth as possible.

Residential Life Team support students living in halls.
ResLife is dedicated to helping you enjoy your time in halls.

The team are here to help support you with your accommodation, education or personal life, such as:

  • helping you to settle in, like finding supermarkets or items for your room;
  • advising on transport or travel routes;
  • academic support, such as finding help for mitigating circumstances;
  • mental health and wellbeing support;
  • resolving issues with flatmates.

All halls have a ResLife Coordinator and several advisors who live alongside you. As well as being on call for any issues, your ResLife Advisors will hold regular group and 1-2-1 chats with you and your flatmates.
